World Book Day Extravaganza 2013

Hello, hello, hello....and welcome to March! As our thoughts turn to leaving behind the dreary winter months, you know what that means.... it's time for the World Book Day Extravaganza. For 2013, it's 5 days, 20 school classes from Galway city, 7 GREAT author/storytellers and all the bookish excitement, drama and joy I can cram into a week. And it all started today.
So, let's have a big cheer for:
the magnificent Patricia Forde, who entertained us all with Frogs Do Not Like Dragons and the promise of another upcoming Lola story.......
the wondrous Rab Swannock Fulton, who made us laugh, scared us silly and made us howl like coyotes (quite literally)....
and those who it would not have been possible without; the schools, teachers and 117 children from St. Nicholas Parochial School and Claddagh School.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Now.... I've got to get ready to do it all again tomorrow.
